Job Summary:
Having completed a complex ERP / Loans Origination and Reporting project, we wish to expand our presence in the East European market. We seek an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager with a background in finance or related fields to lead our sales team and drive business development initiatives. The right candidate should have a strong grasp of financial products, industry solutions, and services with a proven market track record. The position will cultivate and expand client relationships, meet sales targets, and identify emerging opportunities.
Responsibilities:
1. Sales Leadership:
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
• Over time build, lead, motivate, and mentor a sales team to maximize their potential and performance.
2. Business Development:
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the finance sector.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
• Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
3. Financial Product Knowledge:
• Demonstrate a deep understanding of financial products and services.
• Keep abreast of industry regulations and changes that may impact the business.
4. Sales Forecasting and Reporting:
• Develop accurate sales forecasts and reports to provide insights into the sales pipeline and performance.
• Utilize data and analytics to make informed decisions and adjustments to sales strategies.
5. Collaboration:
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure seamless collaboration and alignment of goals.
6. Client Relationship Management:
• Nurture and expand client relationships through effective communication and exceptional service.
• Address client concerns and ensure a high level of client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven work experience as a Business Development Manager, Sales Executive, or a relevant role in the financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of financial products and the financial services market.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
