Job Overview

The Junior Business Analyst plays a critical role in bridging the gap between clients' business needs and technical solutions. Working within a professional services consulting firm specializing in cloud-based business applications, this role requires a blend of business acumen, technical expertise. The Junior Business Analyst will liaise with clients' IT departments and business units to collect and analyze requirements. Proficiency in English is required, with knowledge of French and Arabic being a strong advantage.


Responsibilities and Duties

• Requirements Analysis: Act as a liaison between the client’s IT department, business units, and the development team to gather and document functional and technical requirements.

• UI/UX Prototyping: Drive the creation of wireframes and prototypes to ensure alignment with client expectations.

• Quality Assurance: Review test cases and user guides, ensure adherence to quality standards, and oversee defect resolution.

• Client Communication: Conduct presentations and sprint demos, gather feedback from the client, prepare reports, and ensure that issues are addressed promptly both before and after go-live.



Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. 

• Experience:

2+ years as a Business Analyst, preferably working with cloud-based business applications. Experience in Finance is an advantage.

• Technical Skills:

o Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Powerpoint as well as process modeling tools

o Familiarity with UI/UX prototyping tools such as Figma

o Certifications (desirable): Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO or equivalent), and Business Analysis certification (CBAP, PMI-PBA, or similar)

• Language Skills:

o Proficiency in English (mandatory).

o Knowledge of French and/or Arabic (strongly preferred).

o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

o Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills

o Leadership capabilities to guide and motivate cross-functional teams.

o The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
