SAP Data Engineer Internship

Role Overview

The Data Engineer Intern will support the SAP Analytics & AI practice by learning and assisting in the design, development, and maintenance of data pipelines, data models, and ETL processes using SAP technologies such as SAP HANA, SAP BW, and SAP Datasphere. Working closely with senior team members, the intern will contribute to client and internal projects, help ensure data quality, and participate in training and team activities aimed at building strong technical and analytical skills. 

Responsibilities:

• Learn and assist in designing and developing data pipelines and models using SAP tools (SAP HANA, SAP BW, SAP Datasphere, etc.).
• Support data integration and ETL processes under the guidance of senior team members.
• Contribute to client delivery and internal projects as part of a collaborative team.
• Help ensure data quality and assist in documenting processes and workflows.
• Participate in training, feedback sessions, and team meetings to enhance your skills.

What we’re looking for:

• Recent graduates with a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong interest in data engineering and a desire to learn SAP technologies.
• Basic understanding of SQL and data modeling concepts.
• Analytical mindset and eagerness to solve real-world business problems through data.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Preferred (Nice to Have): 

• Familiarity with data tools or concepts (ETL, databases, data modeling).
• Exposure to scripting languages such as Python.
• Awareness of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or SAP BTP) is a bonus, not a requirement.
